A fresh new year is once again upon us. The members of the Gourd Club were happy to welcome back our snowbirds and newly inspired members.
This year we have a fun-filled package of new classes and demonstrations. What interests you? Marti LoSasso will be teaching a class on how to accessorize your gourd by using beads and Polymer clay. Doris Betuel will teach a class on basic weaving. But wait—there’s more! Janet Bloam and Kathy Foran will be teaching a class on embossing and pigments. What strikes your fancy? You’ll need to be a member of the Gourd Club to participate in these classes. If any of these classes interest you and you’re not a member, come to studio 3 in the Creative Arts building and sign up for an orientation class to become a member.
We welcome everyone to come and visit our studio to see what we do and how we do it. We’re open Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Tuesday afternoons from 1 to 4 p.m.
