Life throws us many curve balls, especially with our health and safety. Because we can never predict the future, it is always a good idea to refresh your knowledge about the safety policies that can help save a neighbor or a friend’s life. Below please see the safety procedures that we have put in place at Robson Ranch AZ.
Our community is part of the ADHS Save Hearts in Arizona Registry and Education program (SHARE). We are committed to educating and improving residents’ and employees’ knowledge of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest policies and emergencies.
What can you do when there is a medical emergency?
* Call 911 – Familiarize yourself with the locations of the courtesy “red phones” that are available at the Sports Club facility. The red phones dial directly to 911.
Locations of the red phones are: indoor pool; inside the Ramada between the main pool and kids pool; outside the door on the tennis courts side of the building.
* When using your cell phone, the emergency dispatcher can track your location, but you should still be prepared to give your address. Note that you may be transferred depending on what cell phone tower is pinged.
Be prepared to provide the following information: nature and location of the medical emergency. The dispatcher will ask for the address: The Sports Club address is 5624 N. Robson Blvd., Eloy, AZ, and the Ranch House address is 5750 N Robson Blvd., Eloy. Be sure to tell them which building you are in.
* Get the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) or ask someone to get the AED and turn it on. Familiarize yourself with the locations of the AEDs. AEDs are used to treat victims who experience sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). It is only to be applied to victims who are unconscious and not breathing normally. The AED will analyze the heart rhythm and advise the operator if a shockable heart rhythm is detected. If a shockable rhythm is detected, the AED will charge to the appropriate energy level and advise the operator to deliver a shock.
The AEDs are located at: Sports Club in the wall near the gym – 5624 N Robson Blvd; Ranch House near office of the GM – 5750 N Robson Blvd; Restaurant near the restrooms – 5750 N Robson Blvd; Creative Arts Building – two locations near the restrooms – 5251 N Robson Blvd.
