The Match Play Team Challenge held on February 10 and 11 was a fun-filled event for the two-man teams of the Orange and Blue. The 28 teams were played in foursomes with one Orange and one Blue team each. The first day was a real variety of events consisting of six holes of alternate shot, six holes of a scramble and six holes of team best ball. The Orange narrowly won the events of the first day!
The second day consisted of two individual 9-hole matches played by the same teams as the first day. Once again the Orange team prevailed. The results meant the Blue team bought lunch for the Orange!
The field for the big event, The Member/Guest Gala, is complete with 46 teams that teeed off it up on March 10, 11, and 12. This group of 92 players far exceeds the previous Member/Guest tournament totals. Guests from as far away as Alaska and eastern Canada joined the fun.
