Have you ever thought about starting your family tree? Does watching shows that use genealogy data to solve crimes and find ancestors like Who Do You Think You Are? or The Genetic Detective intrigue you to take steps to discover more about our own ancestors? If you are interested in beginning to explore your personal history but have felt overwhelmed by information or just don’t know where to begin, Ropin’ In Yer Relatives is offering a seminar you need to attend!
The Robson Ranch Genealogy Club, Ropin’ In Yer Relatives, is planning to have an Introduction to Genealogy seminar on Saturday, Oct. 16, beginning at 9:30 a.m. We will have an hour seminar with additional time for questions and hands-on demonstration.
This workshop is open to anyone who is interested in learning how to start a family tree. You don’t need to be a member of the Genealogy Club in order to participate. Topics will include the information you need to begin your tree, an overview of internet sites and software that are available, as well as avoiding beginner mistakes.
For anyone interested in starting their family tree, you will want an invitation to attend this workshop! Please email me at [email protected] if you are interested in being added to the invitation list.
