Robson Ranch Ladies Golf Association competed in the annual Robson Challenge event on Nov. 16. Because COVID-19 once again canceled last year’s tournament, both 2021 and 2022 qualifiers were able to compete this year, playing the Tuscany Falls East course at PebbleCreek. The weather was windy and their newly overseeded greens were much slower than our wonderful new greens, but that didn’t stop either of our Robson Ranch teams from getting on the podium!

The Eagle’s Nest team from PebbleCreek won Team Low Gross with a total score of 914 (using the 10 lowest scores of the 12 team players). Our Robson Ranch 2021 Team took second in Team Low Gross with a total score of 952. The Tuscany Falls team from PebbleCreek won Team Low Net with a total score of 775. The Robson Ranch 2022 Team took second in Team Low Net with a total score of 795.

Congratulations to Becky Sheffler and Candy Burtis, who tied for second in the Individual Low Net with net scores of 73. Mary Nielsen tied for 6th overall low gross with a score of 87. Other notables from Robson Ranch were Diane Penner, Robin Barber, and Pam Mumy, with net scores of 75; Mary Pryor, with a net score of 76; Mary Nielsen and Pam Costner, with net scores of 77; and Bobbie Johnson, Jean DeChristopher, Barbara Gayer, and Betty Kumbera, with net scores of 78.

Robson Ranch will be hosting the next Robson Challenge in 2023.
