Jeannie Salmon
The Robson Ranch Paper Crafting members have been working this winter on cards for local animal shelters. The shelters can use the cards to thank new pet owners and folks who donate cash and items like food, blankets, towels, etc.
Trudy Foslien dropped off approximately 70 cards to the Valley Humane Society. She presented them to the new director, Paula Langegger, who was very happy to receive them. Their shelter is located at 15699 W. Aniceto Road in Casa Grande.
Trudy and Jeannie Salmon also presented the Pinal County Animal Care and Control with approximately 70 cards. The director is Audra Michael. Their shelter is located at 1150 11 Mile Corner.
Not only does the club make cards for the shelters, but also for other worthy causes. Examples include Angela’s Closet, “welcome to the community cards” for the new Eloy Hospital, the firefighters for Father’s Day, Assisted Living Homes, etc.
The club meets twice a week on Mondays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursdays from noon to 4 p.m. We love new members whether you’ve never made a card or are highly experienced. Orientation is given and practically all supplies are available to use. Come join us!
