The 80+ participants who competed in the putting league on Thursday, March 30, had to deal with very windy conditions. The challenging hole placements and winds were met with determined players who tried to ‘beat the pro,’ win the ‘money hole’ and record the lowest score in the field of players.
Here are the results: 1st Place, Mary Pryor, 24, $43; 2nd Place, Don Edge, 25, $29; 3rd Place: Bruce Erickson, 25, $22. The “Money Hole, worth $152, was won by Don Edge and Tom Osoba who each won $76!
There were nine players: Mary Pryor, Karen Connell, John Burtis, Don Edge, Larry Sundin, Bruce Erickson, Terry Kumbera, Seanna Madera and Craig Spittel who “Beat the Pro” with a score of 26 or better, each player winning $9.
The Robson Ranch Mixed Putting League players face the challenging course every other Thursday. Next league day is April 13. Come on out and join in the fun!
