All She Wants to Do Is Dance

If nothing else, COVID has made us think outside of the box. First, the Sports Club is closed, so this summer line dancing moved to Posse Drive two evenings a week. Next, the ballroom opened for exercise classes and line dancing because you could socially distance yourself in the larger room, so line dancing was held two afternoons a week.

Then along came the required wearing of masks inside buildings. The executive board of the Line Dancing Club decided to move to the less-used parking lot near the softball field. Again, the area was large enough to socially distance, but was outside so masks were not required. What happens next is anybody’s guess! As of now, this is the line dancing schedule:

Tuesday and Thursday 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.: Intermediate

Tuesday and Thursday 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.: Improver

Wednesday and Friday 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.: Beginner

Wednesday and Friday 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.: Absolute Beginner

All of the sessions are free of charge; however, you must belong to the Line Dancing Club. For information on dues, skill levels, etc., contact CJ at [email protected] or Kathy Devlin at [email protected]. It’s always a great time!
