Self-defense techniques designed for mature bodies in everyday situations. Dan Hodes, with over 25 years of experience in tai chi, will be teaching a series of four classes that will focus on self-defense techniques appropriate for adults 55+. No gymnastics, high kicks, or bruising blocks here! These are simple to learn and remember, easy on the body, yet they are very effective.
We will have two classes in December and two in January. The techniques in each class will be different so an individual can take any or all of the classes. No experience needed.
Class times and dates are:
Wednesday, Dec. 4 – (2 to 3 p.m.) at the Sports Club Group Fitness Room.
Wednesday, Dec. 18 – (2 to 3 p.m.) at the Sports Club Group Fitness Room.
Wednesday, Jan. 8 – (2 to 3 p.m.) at the Sports Club Group Fitness Room.
Wednesday, Jan. 22 – (2 to 3 p.m.) at the Sports Club Group Fitness Room.
Sign up is required and now available, and the fee is $4 per class or a single punch per session.
