With the new year comes the new schedule for the Tennis Club activities. Beginning in January, the third Friday of every month is the Friday Night Social. Tennis play is a round robin format, and every club member is invited to sign up to play. Following the two-hours of tennis play, members and their spouses head to the Fireside Room for dinner, drinks, and conversation. It’s a fun evening for everyone!
Our club social is scheduled for Saturday, March 10. This event is opened to all level of players from Robson as well as Casa Grande, Mission Royale, Province in Maricopa, and Sun City Anthem at Merrill Ranch. The club will provide the meat to be grilled, and members will provide side dishes and desserts. Tennis players from the other invited communities will pay a small entry fee to play.
Anyone who is interested in playing tennis in the social round robin can contact any board member; contact information is located on the bulletin boards by the courts. The schedule is women play Monday and Thursday; men, Tuesdays; mixed, Saturdays. Also, if you are interested in participating in the club social on March 10, let us know that, too. Dues for the entire year is only $10. See you on the courts!
