Western State Bank in Casa Grande honored Support Our Troops–AZ (SOT–AZ) as part of the bank’s Hometown Heroes program with a donation of $1,000 to SOT–AZ. Western State Bank joins the growing number of local businesses as an SOT–AZ sponsor. Other business sponsors this year include San Tan Golf Carts, Tri-Valley Landscaping, Al & Riley’s Air Conditioning, and Napa Auto Parts—Eloy.
During the past 18 months, SOT–AZ has provided $100,000 in financial assistance to active-duty military members and families, veterans organizations, and military-related community programs. This November at Robson Ranch, the annual SOT–AZ Veterans Week fundraising events will take place starting with a raffle on Friday, Nov. 3, and Saturday, Nov. 4. A silent and live auction will take place on Saturday, Nov. 4, followed by the annual SOT–AZ Golf Tournament on Thursday, Nov 9.
