Up and Coming at the Ranch

The Leopard Lounge series, dinner and show, begins March 20. Tickets are $50 for homeowners and $60 for non-homeowners. The bar opens at 5:30, dinner at 6:00 and the show will be 7:00-8:30 p.m. The dance floor will be open for all shows. Tickets are still available for all shows.

April 3 at 4:00 p.m. N/S Dakota Party. Leroy and Gayla Barker, 4813 W Mohawk Drive, will be hosting this event. If you have a home in the Dakotas or lived in the Dakotas, you are invited to attend. The Barkers will supply main dish, beer, wine and sodas. If there is a special drink you like, please bring it. If your last name starts with A-O please bring a side dish or salad to share. If your last name begins with P-S please bring an appetizer to share. If your last name starts with T-Z please bring a dessert to share.

April 4 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. The seventh annual Sycamore Block Party at Willcox Drive cul de sac, $10 pp, cash only please. Sock hop and dance to the music of the Arizona BopCats. Food will be provided: chicken, veggie and potato salads, chips, rolls, dessert, soda and water. There will be a best dressed contest and door prizes. Tickets are on sale in the Sports Club March 2, 4 and 6 or contact Izzy Ochletree, Linda Philpott, Gail Mallen, Karen Furu, Emmally Mercer, Alicia Mooney or Kathy Saltus.

April 4, End of Season Tennis Tournament. Format: Four individuals will be assigned to a court. Assignment will be based on level of play. Three no add sets to be played, switching partners after each set. Winner will be the individual who wins the most games. In the event that a set is tied 6-6, a seven point tie break will be used to determine winning team for the set. As we only have four courts, the maximum number of players will be 32 including men and women. The start time will be at 9:00 and 10:30.

As the Tennis Club will provide the main course, we need a headcount for food, so if you will be staying for lunch and if you will be bringing a guest, indicate that on the sign-up sheet. We are also asking the members to bring sides. A separate sign-up sheet will be posted by the courts.

We will be awarding prizes. Bring money as we will have another raffle. Please respond by Monday, March 20.

April 5, Easter Brunch Buffet in the Ranch House Grill. The seating is from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; $25.95 adult, $10.95 child, 4 and under is free. Reservations are required; call 520-426-3331 and press 1 for the hostess.

April 23, Dinner Seminar in the Fireside Room, Ranch clubhouse at 5:30 p.m. The Choy/Freberg Group of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management will walk you through 50 years of Time Magazine covers to show you that many of the geopolitical and economic issues we face today have been challenges in the past. Learn how the challenges of historical events created opportunities in the global capital markets and how this could possibly take the emotions out of investing.
