The Stained Glass Club announces a new program for 2022. Have you considered learning the art of stained glass? Now would be the time, as the Stained Glass Club introduces a new Beginner’s Comprehensive Learning Program starting Jan. 4, 2022. On the first Tuesday of each month, a limited number of students will take the four-week program, taught by Cynthia Melito, held from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Each new member will complete a stained glass panel, which has been designed for teaching different techniques used in creating stained glass works of art. You will learn how to make various cuts from different textured glass, foiling, soldering, wire design, and finishing your panel. Once you have learned all the steps of stained glass art, you will be able to attend all our studio hours, with confidence, to continue on with more projects. The cost for this beginner’s course is $40, which includes your yearly membership dues and all the supplies you will use to create this stained glass panel.
