The next meeting of the Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation Sisterhood is Thursday, December 17, 2015, at 1:00 in the Chapel Center.
Our speaker for this meeting is Dan Shellum who came to Arizona to pursue a career in law enforcement. He has worked for the Chandler Police Department for 10 years. He has a Masters of Criminal Justice from Arizona State University. As part of his master’s program he was afforded the opportunity to study abroad in Israel where he studied counter-terrorism. He ended up leaving Israel with experiences that he says will last him a lifetime and an education that he will never be able to replicate. He recently completed his master’s degree and received a promotion at work, so the changes continue. He looks forward to the opportunity to share his stories and experiences with us.
