RV Club Has First Vagabonds Rally of the Season

Four RVs left the Ranch on Oct. 3 and headed north to the cooler temperatures of Prescott, Ariz. In December 2019, Wagonmasters Cathy and Corky Rodine, along with assistants Alice and John Corbett, made a scouting trip to find a campground, restaurants, and activities for a future rally planned in 2020. Having to postpone the trip because of the pandemic, the two couples—along with Becky and Wayne Moritz and Renee and Lee Kleinjan—waited until 2021 and officially held the first Vagabonds rally for this season on Oct. 3. Activities included a Chamber of Commerce-guided tour of downtown Prescott, a docent-led tour of the Sharlot Hall museum, a picnic lunch at Lynx Lake, several restaurant meals, and lots of shopping. Future rallies for this season include Catalina State Park, Las Cruces, N.M.; Williams, Ariz.; Parker, Ariz.; Rocky Point, Mexico; and Santa Fe, N.M.
