It was a bit chilly to start, but what a beautiful day it was for the annual Robson Ranch Ladies Golf Association (RRLGA) Member/Member Golf Tournament on Nov. 14. Sixty-eight golfers teamed up for 18 holes of fun. The format of the tournament was 9 holes scramble, 9 holes Chapman scotch, and 9 holes best ball. Winning pairs by flight were Diane Penner and Becky Sheffler, Mary Nielsen and Mary Pryor, Donna Toller and Regina Bellach, Sally Fullington and Dema Harris, Laura Manning and Christine Nevitt, Pam Mumy and Judy Brozek, Lanette Inman and Jackie Kachel, and Barbara Gayer and Jan Stocek. Congratulations, ladies!
The first general meeting of the year took place after golf, with lunch provided by Western State Bank. The big announcement for the theme of our Member/Guest Tournament was introduced by the “cast” of Alice in Golferland. We look forward to a fun and entertaining event in March!
