We have another awesome bus trip for you! Join your neighbors and friends on a 1.5-hour nature cruise of Canyon Lake on the Dolly Steam Boat on Friday, April 24, 2020. Depart Ranch House at 7:30 a.m.
You can sit back, relax, and take in the gorgeous views of Canyon Lake! You will cruise for six-miles and may see desert bighorn sheep, bald eagles, and a host of other animals and local wildlife viewed from the decks of the Dolly. You will learn about the beautiful flora of the area from the stately Saguaro cacti to the microscopic organism called desert varnish. You never know what you might learn about Canyon Lake, Tortilla Flat, and the surrounding area aboard the Dolly Steamboat.
The Dolly Steamboat is equipped with a snack bar to include water, soda, snacks, and alcohol. The bar is cash or check only, no credit cards. There are also climate controlled upper and lower decks to beat the heat.
Schedule of the trip:
* Load at Ranch House 7:15 a.m.
* Depart from Ranch House 7:30 a.m.
* Arrive at Tortilla Flats 9:30 a.m.
* Dolly Steamboat Nature Cruise begins at 10 a.m.
* Cruise ends at 11:30 a.m.
* Return to Robson around 1:30 p.m.
Tickets on sale at the Sports Club Front Desk. Ticket prices will be $50 for homeowners and $55 for non-homeowners. Tickets include a round trip charter bus to and from Tortilla Flats and the nature cruise upon the Dolly Steamboat.
