Motorhome? Fifth Wheel? Travel Trailer? Come Join Us!

Alice Corbett

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a vagabond as “a person who wanders from place to place without a fixed home”. The definition of a Robson Ranch Vagabond is a bit different, as we are a fun-loving group of RV owners who enjoy wandering and exploring new places, even though most of us have a fixed home (or two).

If you own a travel trailer, fifth wheel, or motorhome, the Robson Ranch Vagabonds RV Club would love to have you join us at one of our upcoming monthly meetings, as soon as we are allowed to gather again as a group. We typically meet in the Laredo Room on the first Friday of the month from October through May to discuss club business, upcoming rallies and other topics of interest.

In addition to our monthly meetings, we have an annual Christmas party/dinner, a spring potluck, and an end-of-season gathering along with five to six planned rallies. Some of the places we have held rallies in the past few years are The Grand Canyon, Lake Havasu, San Diego/Oceanside, Calif., Rocky Point, Cottonwood (Dead Horse Ranch State Park), Lake Patagonia and Willcox, Ariz. Each rally is planned and coordinated by a wagon master and assistant wagon master and includes visits to a number of points of interest in the local area. Meals around the campfire as well as at a local restaurant or two are always enjoyable, and the men’s breakfast (where the men prepare and serve breakfast to the ladies) is a part of many rallies, as is a “golf day” for the golfers in the group.

We are always looking for new places to go and new ideas for club activities. We would love to meet you and hear about your RV travels and experiences. If you would like to know more about the Robson Ranch Vagabonds and be notified when we start meeting again as a group, email your contact information to our club activities director, Alice Corbett, at [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming meeting!
