Before I get on to the Material Girls news, don’t forget to purchase your raffle tickets for the beautiful queen size quilt that will be raffled off at the November craft fair. Stop by the Creative Arts Center sewing room any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday, and one of our members will be happy to show you the quilt and sell you some tickets! I guess you can call it March Madness when the Material Girls got together for a table topper class taught by Jaclyn Marshall. To add to the madness, classes were held for using the long arm quilting machine, finish it up days and evenings to complete the products to be sold at the March craft fair, and many hours of sewing, quilting, and machine embroidery. Income from sales at the craft fairs is used to buy fabric and notions for charity quilts which are donated to local charities, as well as Robson Ranch residents who have a life-threatening medical issue or loss of a spouse. For those of you who might be interested in joining us and/or becoming a member, we welcome you to stop by any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and see the creativity taking place.
