Novenber 17 is the Robson Ranch Walk to End Alzheimer’s!
We are on the countdown now! This will be the eighth Alzheimer’s Walk here at Robson Ranch. If you haven’t joined our wonderful caring community for this walk, make it a priority this year! We all have a great time and raise monies to support more research to end or control this life changing illness that affects whole families. Many of you have witnessed the sadness this disease has to your family or dear friend’s families. Join one of the teams, start your own or walk independently. The team captains are Laurie Waluk, Gerard Wittman, Linda Farestad, Terry Price, Jane Kihlstrom and Mary Beth Fisher. Call one: they would love you be part of their team! You can register, donate and join or form a team by going to http://act.alz.org/robsonranch. The Walk begins in the parking lot of the baseball field. Please be there by 8:30 a.m. as the Walk starts at 9:00 a.m. The route is right on Robson Boulevard, left on Harris Hawk, left on Anazai, straight through the Villas, left on Corral Drive to the ball field.
There is no registration fee. Alzheimer’s would like to have a count on how many walkers we have and how much money is donated. So, there will be three lines. One for registered and donated; one for registered only and one for not registered or donated. Please go there first, then pick up your T-shirt if you donated $100 or more; your ticket for the drawing following the walk; your memory flower; a snack and bottle of water. There will be water available from the golf cart drivers that are circling the route to pick up anyone who feels the need to stop.
See you all at this fun and worthwhile community event!
