National mah jongg players did it again—making a donation to Casa Grande Alliance Cancer Center. This year’s donation was in honor of several of our players and in memory of one particular dear friend. A check for $357 was presented to the center for their fund that meets the practical, everyday needs of their patients who are going through their varied treatments.
The donation was made possible by the players ordering cards through a single “collector,” which expedites the ordering process. Any funds remaining after the printing of the cards is then returned to the local collector and then donated to the club’s preferred charity.
The Robson Club has donated nearly $1,500 to local charities in the past seven years.
