As Friendship Center said goodbye on May 19 to its beloved, founding pastor, Reverend Ron Hunt, we are pleased to announce new church leadership with Pastor Ash Dotson. In 2006 Pastor Dotson completed his seminary training at Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University in Philadelphia, Pa. In addition to his MDiv, Pastor Dotson is certified in Spiritual Direction and is an enneagram typing facilitator. He has worked as a senior pastor in the American Baptist and United Methodist churches and has offered workshops in church visioning and the enneagram. He and his wife are moving from Nevada to this area, and he will serve as Friendship Center’s pastor beginning July 1.
While the vision and mission of Friendship Center remains strong, we are looking forward to an affiliation with the United Methodist Church, which will likely result in a name change and a new, revitalized ministry. Come check us out on July 6 at 9:30 a.m. in the Cheyenne Room and welcome our new pastor.
