On Tuesday, Feb. 18, several members of Robson Ranch’s Fine Arts Guild visited world-renowned artist Duffy Sheridan in Eloy, AZ, where he lives and works from his art studio at the Desert Rose Baha’i Institute.

Duffy and his wife, Jeanne, welcomed members into their gallery/studio for what turned out to be an awe-inspiring tour. Mr. Sheridan is a self-taught artist, who has won numerous international awards for his amazing realistic oil paintings. His work can be found in prestigious institutions (from a Cathedral in the South Pacific, the U.S. Air Force Academy, corporate headquarters in Manhattan, Baha’i World Center in Haifa, Israel, to private residences of kings, judges, bishops, and collectors worldwide). His paintings are also on display at the Marshall Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ.

Mr. Sheridan shared information with RR art guild members about his world travels, art inspiration, painting techniques, and how he strives to evoke a different emotion in each painting.

Jeanne Sheridan (Duffy’s wife) is also an artist of jewelry making, quilting, Musubi Stone, pottery, and numerous other crafts taught at their Desert Rose Center of Learning, which includes sculptors, agriculturists, painters, writers, musicians, carpenters, and a number of other arts.

We are fortunate to have this incredible artist, Duffy Sheridan, and art institute in our backyard!
