Fall Softball Sign-Up

The Robson Ranch Softball Club is currently in the process of forming teams for fall softball 2022. The Robson-only league is currently playing every Saturday in October. New teams will be formed after the conclusion of the four-week October season and will include those who will be at the ranch starting in November. All softball at Robson Ranch is co-ed, and we encourage anyone who has the desire to play softball to get involved. You can sign up by logging onto robsonranchsoftball.com. If you want to play in November, new teams will be formed for the November/December league. All games are played Saturday mornings.

Last year, Robson Softball Saturday ball had three seasons of league play—fall, winter, and spring. We expect to continue those three seasons this year depending on the number of members who sign up. Winter is also our tournament season, and there is an opportunity for more competitive “off-campus” teams that travel to other 55+ communities for tournament play. We also host four tournaments each winter, two each for “C” level and the higher skilled “B” level. Tournament teams are made up of players who have higher ratings and are selected by the board.

Players may also sign up for the Palm Creek league, which is a co-ed league played on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Palm Creek and Robson Ranch. Sign-ups for the fall league closed at the end of September, but will re-open for the winter season. The Palm Creek league is made up of teams from various 55+ communities in the Casa Grande area.

If you are not interested in playing but would like to get involved, there is a need for volunteers in a variety of areas. In the scorer’s booth we need announcers, scorekeepers, and scoreboard operators. On the field we are looking for umpires, coaches, and field prep workers. If interested in volunteering, contact club president Montana Bill Dirkes at 406-581-9107 or email [email protected].

Now is the time to get involved. See you on the field!
