Ask Your Agents – February 2015

Dear Cheri and Tammy,

We’ve been thinking about taking my family on a European vacation, but are not sure if it would be appropriate for the teens in the family. What are your thoughts?

Signed,

Clare and George

Dear Clare and George,

Travel can be life changing! It is transformational, eye-opening, exciting, wondrous and engaging for travelers of every age. We find that young ones as early as age eight begin to truly appreciate the vacation experience. Family vacations are designed to spark a passion, inspire a sense of wonder or enrich understanding – and when these experiences are shared with loved ones, they bridge lasting bonds between the different generations.

We at El Sol Travel work with a small number of “Family/Multi-Generational Travel” companies such as Trafalgar, Collette and our favorite – Tauck Bridges. When working with us, we’ll take a care of all the details, which allows you to enjoy quality time with your family. These tours are designed with families in mind; however, they are also for the young at heart!

Imagine taking a ride on the Harry Potter Double Decker Bus in London or engaging in a Scavenger Hunt in some of the most beautiful and educational cities in Europe, such as London or Paris. How about journeying on the high speed train from London to Paris, learning how to make chocolate, riding the Eiffel Tower or hunting truffles with dogs in the south of France. One of our favorite family European experiences is called “Grand European Family Holiday.” It is chock-full of spectacular adventures the whole family will enjoy together!

Whether travel takes your family abroad or you closer to our North America home, there is a special family adventure for you! Give us a call and let us handle the details and find your perfect Family/Multi-Generational Family adventure for you!

Sincerely,

Cheri and Tammy
