The Robson Ranch Vagabonds RV Club kicked off the 2026-27 RV group travel season with their first RV Rally, Oct. 1–5, up to beautiful Prescott, Ariz., at the Point of Rocks RV Resort in the spectacular boulder formations organized by Wagon Masters Dave and Susie Garland and Assistant Wagon Masters, Jim and Nancy Aldred.

Nineteen club members with 10 RVs enjoyed the sunny, 70 degree days on an organized historic walking tour of old town Prescott hearing stories about the 1900 fire that destroyed the old western town and the colorful miners and cowboys, including Wyatt and Virgil Earp, Doc Holiday and, of course, Big Nose Kate who wandered through town.

Included in the rally was a day trip to the old mining town of Jerome, great music from local artists, shopping, and good food and libations in the local saloons on Whiskey Row.

The Vagabond RV club also has trips planned to Williams, Ariz., to ride the Grand Canyon Railway to the National Park and a trip to historic Yuma, Ariz., this fall.

Our next General Meeting is planned for Nov. 6 at 4:30 p.m. in the Cheyenne/Laredo Room at the Ranch House where all Robson Ranch RV owners are welcome to attend and participate with the club in RV Rallys, social gatherings, and local day trip excursions as a club member.
