This month I’m drinking Macallan 10. This is probably one of my all-time favorite scotches and I’m so excited to bring this on for our bar! I have always kept a bottle of this at home without fail for the past seven years. And don’t let its younger age fool you; this is one of the smoothest and tastiest single malts you’ll ever have! It’s aged in two different casks. First it’s aged in sherry casks that give you the classic floral, fruity speyside notes up front. Then it’s aged in oak bourbon casks which impart caramel, toasty, and oaky flavors at the end with an inherent smoothness that’s just incredible! Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks. Cheers!
