I would like to introduce myself. My name is Charles Kassels, and I am proud and happy to be the new executive chef of Robson Ranch. I was taken away with the quality of the club when I came here for my interviews, and I look forward to working in such a beautiful and welcoming environment. My style of food is very simple: clean, comforting, and I hope you find it to be tasty. I am excited to get to know you and cook for you. I look forward to our time together.
Charles Kassels was born in Boston but has lived in Arizona for over 35 years. Chef Kassels graduated with honors from the Culinary Institute of America in New York. Prior to joining the team at Robson Ranch he served in various culinary capacities at Barmouche and Continental Catering in Phoenix, the Boulders in Carefree, the Westin Kierland Resort in Scottsdale and Old House Restaurant and the El Dorado Hotel & Spa in Santa Fe. For the past seven years he has served as Executive Chef for El Chorro Lodge in Paradise Valley. He has participated in many high-profile events including the FBR Open/Phoenix Open and The Winston Cup NASCAR Race in Phoenix. He and his wife of almost 19 years have two children.
