Sunday, March 6, at 12:30 p.m. the Hermosa Ballroom will be all set and ready for the Queen of Hearts Tea to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Desert Southwest Chapter. The afternoon of fun and entertainment begins with a light lunch and dessert carrying out the theme of the event. All are welcome: men, women and children. There will be unique raffle items and special entertainment with all proceeds after expenses to the Alzheimer’s cause. Alzheimer’s is now the number four cause of death in Arizona. There currently is no cure so research is critical understanding this disease.
Tickets will be available January 15 from Mary Beth Fisher, [email protected]; individual tickets are $25. Reserve a table of 10 to honor your loved one for $200. The special centerpieces will focus on the person to whom the table is dedicated. Ladies are encouraged to wear their favorite spring hat, and everyone is asked to bring their own tea cup.
