The world’s most amazing landscapes, riverways, seascapes, and vistas abound in San Francisco and northern California!

You and your friends are invited to travel to see some of the most beautiful and inspiring places on earth this April 26 through May 2, 2020. Robson’s own Ron and Lisa Hunt will lead the tour. They are outdoor enthusiasts who lived in the Bay Area for 18 years. Ron’s an expert on the most beautiful places that many miss when traveling to the San Francisco area.

For the active participants, there’s great hiking, biking, and kayaking. There’s also golf, pickleball, and boating, available each day.

For those who enjoy fine cuisine, wine, craft-beers, shopping, spas, and relaxing in stunning surroundings, this is truly a great destination.

Every day, the tour will feature the main tour of the day, or a side tour option. There’s also excellent on your own options.

The itinerary includes:

Day 1 – Historic wine country town’s best kept secret: Healdsburg and Sonoma County.

Day 2 – Sonoma’s Alexander Valley and Russian River scenic drive and wine country tasting tour.

Day 3 – Giant redwoods, the cathedral of the world’s tallest trees: Garberville and Humboldt County.

Day 4 – Golden Gate and Pacific Vistas, Marin Headlands Beach, wildflower hiking tour, and Sausalito. (Here’s an example of the side tours and your own options for day 4)

Side Tour: Take a ferry across the bay to Fisherman’s Wharf, as well as Ghirardelli Square and cable car rides.

On Your Own: Kayaking San Francisco Bay, pickleball, hiking, biking, golf, international shops, and Bayside Parks.

How it works

What makes this tour so unique?

First, the cost is only $250 per person. Why? Because we want to offer you flexibility.

The cost is so low because we allow you to book your own accommodations directly according to your budget and tastes. We will let you know where the tour leaders will be staying, but if you prefer another place, you certainly may stay there.

It also allows you to have your own car. Then, you can go with the recommended tour of the day, take one of the side tours, or something else entirely like the “On Your Own” options we provide. If you want to travel with the tour’s transportation, it’s only $250 more.

If you want to have us book your accommodations and personal rental car for you, it’s only an additional $150 for that service.

It’s all about flexibility, which most tours don’t offer. This makes your trip uniquely yours and affordable. Plus, we’re a non-profit organization that is based here at Robson, so we’re offering a service not for profit.
