Summer at Robson Ranch brings hot temperatures, monsoon rains, and dust each afternoon. But if you go to the Sports Club, music will be playing in the aerobics room as Line Dancing Club members learn new choreography to favorite songs, as well as dance to old-time favorites.
Although some of the dances are choreographed to country music songs, many other genres are included. Favorite dance choreography includes songs by Megan Trainor, Justin Timberlake, and Engelbert Humperdinck—dance genres include waltz and jazz. Usually the country dances are favorites though!
With fewer members available during the summer months, classes will be combined with a slight change in meeting times. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the Improver and Intermediate classes will be held for 90 minutes (instead of the regular one hour); and on Wednesdays and Fridays, the Absolute Beginner and Beginner classes will be combined as well.
Want to be part of the fun? Dues are $20 a year, which includes all classes and dance parties. That’s a fantastic deal! An Absolute Beginner class will begin sometime in September for those who are interested in joining the club.
