Robson Unplugged

John Sutton

I’d like to start by saying thank you to everyone who came out in December and supported our Christmas show at the Grill on Dec. 4. The Grill was packed and our own Robson performers did a great job playing and singing all of our favorite Christmas songs.

Our Feb. 5 show will again feature only our own Robson talent. We will start the evening with Trish Ambrose and Connie Koza playing and singing many of our favorites from “back then.” Connie will play guitar, ukulele, and a little bass. John Sutton will also assist on bass.

Our second set will feature an all-female band led by Lisa Hunt. Lisa is the lead singer and also plays electronic keyboard. You will find Gerri Bradley playing piano, Connie Drew on the drums, and Connie Koza on guitar. The name of the group? The Girls Next Door. This will be their debut performance, so you won’t want to miss it.

For our final set of the evening we are privileged to have an appearance by Sierra Sound. Kim Gibbs and Ken Muhlbeier will divert from their norm and in keeping with the idea of being unplugged will play acoustic versions of many of our favorites, with Kim doing the lead singing and Ken playing guitar.

Put the Grill down on your calendar for Feb. 5 at 5:30 p.m. to come and support your local musicians who are also your friends and neighbors. It will be a fun time for all. And, as always, thank you for the support you have given Robson Unplugged.
