The Robson Ranch Singers are bringing their voices to our nation’s capital next spring to participate in the National Memorial Day Choral Festival, marking the 250th anniversary of America’s independence.
Music Celebrations International has extended an official invitation to the Robson Ranch Singers to participate in the festival in Washington, D.C., taking place over Memorial Day weekend in May 2026. The festival will be one of several musical productions in our nation’s capital that will commemorate the 250th anniversary of independence (1776-2026).
The National Memorial Day Choral Festival honors veterans, past and present, who have sacrificed so much for the liberties we enjoy. The setting for this commemoration will be the historical and internationally renowned Concert Hall at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The choir will perform under the artistic direction of Dr. Craig Jessop, one of America’s foremost choral conductors and former Music Director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
The singers will participate in a Choral Festival that will include amateur volunteer singers from communities across the United States. More than 200 singers will perform traditional patriotic songs during the two-hour program accompanied by the Capitol Wind Symphony. They will also sing as part of the nationally televised opening ceremony of the national Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25, 2026.
This is an unparalleled musical opportunity for the Robson Ranch Singers. It is the love of singing that excites the group to sing in the national capital during such a patriotic weekend. Twenty-five singers and guests will travel to Washington, D.C., to represent and honor our veterans from Robson Ranch, the City of Eloy, and the State of Arizona. The singers will travel May 21-26, 2026. Time will be set aside for some sightseeing to national monuments between the long hours of rehearsals.
Singers and guests will be responsible for the cost of the six-day tour, which will amount to more than $3,000 per person. Additional expenses include purchasing our required music and festival attire as well as meals and incidentals not included in the tour pricing.
Our singers participate in many activities here at Robson Ranch, with our primary musical shows for Christmas and our Spring concert. We are members of many other Robson clubs, churches, sport teams, game groups, travel clubs, and so much more.
The Robson Ranch Singers group is hoping to secure sponsorships to help offset the costs of the festival music and tour expenses. If you’d like to learn more or offer a sponsorship, please reach out to one of our Robson Ranch Singers Directors:
