The Robson Ranch Men’s Golf Association (RRMGA) board and men’s club would like to thank everyone for another successful season. The men’s club has 200 members and weekly play is every Thursday. Congratulations to the winners and welcome to the new board members.
Mike Pryor won five matches on his way to winning the Match Play. He defeated Steve Reed 1up to win the final match.
The Eclectic Tournament (best score on every hole over 15 weeks of men’s club play) was won by Curt Beling with a gross score of 13 under par and Bruce Coleman with a net score of 23 under par.
Paul Erdman repeated as Club Champion with an impressive two-day total of 5 under par from the Pine tees. Senior Champion (age 65 and over) was Keith Olson at 7 over par from the Pine/Rust tees The Legends Champion (age 75 and over) was Jim Stogsdill at 16 over par from the Rust tees.
The board added the Robson Ranch Cup, sponsored by Al & Riley’s Air Conditioning and Sheet Metal, this year. It allows players to accumulate points throughout the season by participation with additional points for placing. This started with the kickoff event in October and culminated with the Club Championship the first week of April. Our thanks go out to Bill Waugh, who designed and made the trophy. Congratulations to Bruce Morris as the inaugural winner.
