Robson Ranch residents showcased their community spirit and generosity once again at the spring Bake Sale benefiting the Eloy Elementary School District’s Family Support Center, also known as Angela’s Closet.

Angela’s Closet, directed by the dedicated Angela Acuna, is a lifeline for families facing various challenges by providing food and clothing, technology support and internet access, emergency assistance for families in crisis, parenting and adult ESL classes, and more.

The biannual Bake Sale, organized by the Democratic Club of Robson Ranch, is held in the fall and spring at the Robson Ranch Craft Fair. This year’s event on March 16 was a great success, raising $2,471 for Angela’s Closet. The steady increase in funds raised each year reflects the growing momentum behind this cause.

Thirty-six bakers enthusiastically contributed their culinary talents to the cause, crafting an impressive array of cookies, bars, cakes, pies, and bread. This year’s selection featured more sugar-free, gluten-free, and vegan options to entice even more people to stop by and pick up some goodies. And if that doesn’t draw you in, how about biscuits for your canine friend?

In keeping with the Craft Fair tradition of offering handcrafted items, every baked good at the sale was lovingly homemade from scratch by Robson Ranch residents. It is such a baking frenzy to create fresh goods in just a day or two and get it all packaged, they never know exactly how much they baked. Non-baking volunteers played a crucial role, loading and unloading three vehicles very full of sweet goodness and assisting with sales throughout the event.

The Democratic Club of Robson Ranch and Angela Acuna extend their heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers and the community, whose support made the bake sale a success. Direct donations and enthusiastic patronage of the sweet treats demonstrates the power of collective action in making a positive impact. By supporting Angela’s Closet, residents demonstrate their commitment to uplifting and empowering kids and their families in the Eloy Elementary School District.
