With 2024 well underway, the Creative Arts Center has been busier than ever. The Robson Ranch Ceramics and Pottery Club is no exception. We are in Studio 1 and available for all homeowners who want to work with clay to create bowls, cups, figurines, totems, or art pieces.
To get started, we offer a multi-session beginner’s class in which you will learn how to create a project from start to finish. We will walk you through each step of the process from the type of clay to use, the use of tools to manipulate clay into different shapes and objects, and the finishing steps before your project is ready to be fired in one of the club’s kilns. Once your project has been fired, we will walk you through the types of club glazes available and guide you in proper glaze application techniques. Your finished project will be a one-of-a-kind creation!
After the beginner’s class, our studio is available several days during the week for members to come in to work on more projects! The club’s tools are always available, and a monitor is always nearby to help you. Come join us! We would love to show you how much fun you can have in working with clay!
