Play pickleball this summer

A little heat is not going to stop our enthusiastic pickleballers from playing their favorite sport as the evening social group demonstrated one night in June when the temperature hit 111 at 7:00 in the evening. However, their numbers were greatly reduced as half of them went to the pool for some water volleyball.

Pickleball continues this summer with a few changes to the schedule:

On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings the mixed social round robin will begin at 7:00 a.m. Players of skill levels 3.5 and under are welcome.

The Inter-community play on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings will still begin at 6:00 a.m.

On Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:00 a.m. there will also be a mixed competitive play round robin for skill levels 3.5 and above.

The evening social group plays Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday 7:00-9:00 while mixed round robin 3.5+ play on Mondays and Wednesdays at that time.

So don’t let a little heat keep you indoors. Get out and play!
