Thanks to everyone who supported our booth and raffle quilt at the November Craft Fair. We really appreciate all of you. As creative people, we love how you receive our efforts. The 2022 Raffle Quilt was won by Cathy Bell from Arizona City. It has beautiful Southwestern colors, and will be a lovely addition to Cathy’s home.
As we reflect on the past year, we are saddened by health issues that some of our Robson residents have endured and by the losses of some residents as well. We feel privileged to be able to offer quilts to comfort those going through health issues and to spouses of those no longer with us. It’s a privilege to serve a community that gives so much to us each day.
Our winter residents are returning every day, and you can see the pace of activities at the Ranch picking up. We have started talking about new and interesting classes and projects for the winter months. We also have new members with some wonderful fabric skills. I say fabric skills because there is a lot more to fabric than making quilts. We will be offering classes on all sorts of projects. I am especially looking forward to the jacket class that Janita will be teaching and the saguaro wall hanging that Janice will be teaching. And of course, Cherie will be teaching the Quilting 101 class again in January. People new to quilting shouldn’t miss this set of classes.
