General Manager’s Report

The semi-annual HOA assessment billing for 2018 has arrived. Please note that the due date has changed from previous years. Your first payment of the year is due by February 1, 2018, with the late date being February 28. The second half of the year will be due by August 1, 2018, with the late date being August 15.

Two main reasons for the change in date are as follows:

1. To eliminate year end audit issues of billing future years’ dues early (e.g., billing in 2017 for an amount due in 2018)

2. To eliminate future years’ funds coming in early and being used for current year operations rather than the year they are intended for (e.g., receiving 2018 assessments in 2017)

For anyone who has their HOA assessments automatically withdrawn from their bank account, I’d like to ask that you go in and adjust your settings to have the payment due date set for February 1 and August 1, 2018. Some of you may be working on this now, so I wanted to get this information out to you.

I wanted to also share with you that your HOA billing statement will have a new property number assigned to you due to the transition of Northstar. Any account number you may have used prior to this time is no longer valid. Your new property number will be reflected on your 2018 billing statement and should be used in the memo line when making a payment.

Scroll down to right under the photo and you will see options to pay online with check or credit card. Once you click the link you are interested in, you will follow the onscreen instructions which will include the ID numbers we were speaking of above.
