Janet Patton, a former Robson Ranch resident and previous member of the Fine Arts Guild, returned to Robson Ranch this last October. She introduced 11 members of the Fine Arts Guild to a new painting technique that started in 2006. Alcohol inking is applying different colors of alcohol ink to ceramic tiles or Yupo paper. Janet demonstrated different methods to move the inks on the tiles and Yupo paper. This was followed by embellishing the painting using markers before finishing off with a seal coat to preserve the art.
We hope Janet will return to Robson Ranch again and show us something else that is new!
