On Sept. 11, approximately 50 dancers from the Line Dance Club attended the line dance party in the Hermosa Ballroom from noon to 4 p.m. Cj and Loralee, instructors of the classes, served as the DJs.
Each of the four levels of dance classes alternated among the play list. Cj’s organizing of the dance list allowed each class level to hit the dance floor with some of the dances being performed by multiple levels. It was an awesome sight when almost everyone danced at once in perfect harmony!
Appetizers and a no-host bar were available the entire time; after the first two hours, everyone enjoyed the pizza during the “break.” The four hours went by quickly, and everyone had a wonderful time.
Are you interested in joining the Line Dance Club? For only $25 a year, you can take at least two hours of line dance classes a week and participate in four Line Dance Parties (with pizza included) and two Community-Wide Line Dance Parties. A new Absolute Beginners class started on Sept. 15; however, get your name on the reservation list for the next class.
