CORR Fundraiser events coming up soon

Bea Pressler

Community Outreach of Robson Ranch (CORR) has several wonderful events coming up in December that no one will want to miss!

Thursday, December 3 from noon until 6:00 p.m. is the third annual White Christmas Boutique supporting CORR. It will again be at Bea Pressler’s home, 5318 N Scottsdale Road. Come and get your last minute Christmas and Holiday gifts (and maybe a little something for yourself) and choose from Mary Kay Cosmetics (everything will be on sale), Gold Canyon Candles, thirty-one Bags, Vivi Jewelry, Norwex and Inge’s fashions. Gifts in all price ranges will be available. A percentage of sales is given to CORR each year.

Saturday, December 5 will be CORR’s Signature Event, a dinner dance in the Hermosa Ballroom. Tickets are $40 per person. There will be a no host bar with The Time Bandits entertaining. This event is not to be missed.

Monday, December 7, will be our second annual Morning of Generosity for CHARA from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Hermosa Ballroom. Twenty Eloy families will receive turkeys, hams, pumpkin pies, other food items, games, books, toys, and clothing for boys and girls ages 4-18.

Stay tuned for the opening of the Heart of Eloy, CORR’s newest endeavor. A boutique in Eloy where gently used articles, in perfect condition are donated to CORR. The donated articles will be sold to shoppers. Heart of Eloy will have a soft opening in the middle of December. Betty Peterson is busy bringing the building up to date working with Monsanto and JBS Roofing who have donated time, workers and materials to the CORR Project. Sandy Christopher is collecting donations for Heart of Eloy. CORR is looking for clothing, shoes, costume jewelry, small pieces of furniture, home decor items and so much more.

CORR, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, was founded in 2012. Our motto is “It’s All About the Kids,” and our mission is to make a positive impact on the lives of school children who face adversity. We supply shoes, clothing, school supplies, books, backpacks and more to children in Eloy.
