… and the Robson Ranch Singers are READY!
Have you made your reservations for our Holiday Show, “Christmas Unwrapped: A Season for Giving”? It will be Tuesday, Dec. 10 and Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Hermosa Ballroom.
We sold out our Holiday and Spring Shows last year and wouldn’t want you to miss this special Robson Ranch holiday tradition. To make reservations, please go to the HOA website/Event Tickets right away—time is running out!
We are sure you’ll hear some of your favorite holiday songs—“Santa Baby,” “We Need a Little Christmas,” and a beautiful combination of “Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth”—and discover some new favorites as well.
To celebrate this season for giving, please bring nonperishable items or checks made payable to the Eloy Food Bank as you attend our shows!
And also, in keeping with our theme, I asked our members to recall their most memorable gift. “Memorable” could include the unexpected, the good, the bad … and the ugly. I’ve loved learning more about my fellow Singers and hope you have, too. Here are a few…
The very best, and special, gift I ever received was the birth of my daughter. Meghann is my firstborn. She made her debut on Christmas Eve in 1983!—Karin Randle
The best Christmas gift I received was when I was in 6th grade. My parents gave my twin and me $65 each, to purchase sky-blue Schwinn Sting-Ray bikes. It gave us the freedom to ride to school and to the park, plus our mother no longer had to drive us to school every day—PRICELESS!—Peggy Morris
One Christmas, when I was 9, Santa brought me a microscope and brought my sister a John Gnagy “Learn to Draw Kit.” As adults I became a microbiologist/lab tech and my sister is an art teacher and studio artist. Don’t ever think that the gifts you give don’t matter!—Connie Drew
The holiday music our directors, Laurie Laramie and Beth Forbes, have chosen is perfect for the theme and we are sure our show will put you in the holiday spirit. We look forward to seeing you on Dec. 10 and 11. Until then, Happy Holidays!
