BOM(B) … Say What?

Pictured is this month’s BOM(B), “Puppies on the Loose,” a fun quilt that will soon be enjoyed and loved by a local child.

This month the Robson Ranch Material Girls (RRMG) are celebrating our latest BOM(B). No, not a “bomb”a BOM(B): Block-of-the-Month Beauty! A “block-of-the-month” quilt is a quilt project involving numerous quilters constructing a single quilt block for a lap or twin-size quilt to be donated to the Advocacy Center, one of our many charity organizations. Our members enjoy these monthly projects, overseen and designed by Robin Lauser, BOM chairperson. Each month, Robin and her BOM committee members use the finished quilt blocks and construct beautiful donation quilts. We celebrate these beautiful quilts as does the Advocacy Center.

Thanks for your continued support of our club by purchasing raffle tickets for the raffle quilt each year and purchasing craft items at our Robson Ranch Craft Fair booth in the spring and fall. Because of your generosity we continue to produce these quilts for local charities and to our community members in need of comfort. If you are interested in joining the RRMG, please contact Cathy Kuenning, membership chair, at [email protected].
