Theater at the Ranch Presents “POTUS” November 7 at 3 p.m.

Note new time for this event.

The play POTUS: Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive by Selena Fillinger, will be presented as a free stage reading on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 3 p.m. in the Hermosa Ballroom in the Ranch House. The time of the performance was changed to accommodate those who want to attend the Eloy Glow event. Now you can attend the Art Crawl, the POTUS performance, and Eloy Glow all in one day!

Doors open at 2:15 p.m. for open seating. There is no cost to attend. Donations will be accepted to help defray the cost of the production, but seating is open (that is, no assigned seats and no cost to attend). A cash bar and snacks will be available.

This is a non-partisan, adult–themed comedy featuring seven fictional women who surround a fictional President of the U.S. (POTUS). It is not about any specific U.S. President or administration. Because it is a stage reading, the actresses will be seated or standing and reading from their scripts with limited movements on stage. There will be a narrator (Brian Lee) who will be describing what is happening on stage so that the audience can imagine what is happening while the actresses are reading their lines. The cast consists of Kristine Archuleta, Laura Byrne, Karen Dielmann, Deborah Dorman, Lynn Hooper, Peggy Lee, and Marsha Oliver.

The play is rated R for adult language and adult-oriented themes (not suitable for children) and L for laughter! Please email deborahdorm@gmail.com with the number in your party by Nov.2 or for more information. Walk-ins are fine as well. Come join us for an afternoon of a bit of silliness, a hint of irreverence and a lot of laughter!
