Karen M. Dielmann
On Friday, Nov. 20 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fireside Room at the Ranch House, Robson Ranch resident and author Betsy Lydle Smith will present at the next Chapter & Verse event. The author presentations are usually held on the last Friday of the month; however, this one is scheduled for the third Friday of November due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Although Betsy was born in New York state, she lived in many different geographical areas including Virginia, Germany, California, and Washington state before moving to Robson Ranch in 2021. Even though she is a former junior high a
and poetry for her family and friends, she published Adventures of the Heart: A Life Well-Lived last year. This volume focuses on family, friends, home, travel, work, and reflections as well as revelations.
In addition to being a teacher, Betsy has also been an art consultant, an art gallery director, and she founded a nonprofit arts organization for children. A Master Facilitator for an international initiative called The Virtues Project, Betsy leads the Meaningful Conversations group at Robson. She and her husband Pete have two daughters and five grandchildren. They discovered Robson on a road trip during COVID and moved here shortly thereafter.
Come join your fellow book lovers and aspiring and published authors on Friday, Nov. 20 in the Fireside Room. Betsy will share from her book and address why it’s important for all of us to leave a legacy for family. We gather around 10 a.m. for conversation and mingling with Betsy’s presentation set to begin at 10:30 a.m. Hope to see you there!
