Material Girls Community Outreach

Trish Raczynski and Lin Michaud

The Robson Ranch Material Girls and Guy (RRMG) want to thank everyone for supporting our recent Raffle Quilt. The support you provide through the purchase of tickets for the Raffle Quilt enables us to purchase supplies to make Comfort Quilts for our community and the Pinal County Family Advocacy Center (pinal.gov/1626/Family-Advocacy-Centers).

RRMG provides Comfort Quilts to members of the Robson Ranch community who lose a spouse/partner or who experience a life threatening/altering illness or accident. Providing these quilts has been a mission of our group from the beginning. However, we can only provide them when we hear of someone’s need. Through this article, we are asking for the community’s help in this mission. If you know of someone in the community who might be eligible to receive a Comfort Quilt, please notify a member of RRMG. If you do not know a RRMG member, you can contact either Lin Michaud (520-483-2047) or Trish Raczynski (205-873-2417).

The quilts that RRMG provides to the Pinal County Family Advocacy Center located on Coolidge Avenue in Eloy are used exclusively by this facility for the support of local families who are involved in abusive situations. Our quilts provide comforting support to the children. They are not distributed throughout the entire Pinal County system.
