Nicole McCracken, Administrative Assistant
Dear Robson Ranch homeowners,
We would like to introduce you to our new Friendly Reminder updates that you will receive periodically from the HOA office. These will be topics we often receive requests to remind fellow homeowners of. If you think of a topic that would be beneficial for us to add, please let us know.
Holiday Decorations:
It is the time of year where homeowners enjoy decorating their houses for various holidays. We love the festive decor and lights! Holiday decorations may remain on your homes until January 15, 2021.
We would like to remind everyone to please be cautious of any decorations that are hanging on your garage blocking your house numbers. The fire department has asked us to please have all homeowners remove any decorations that may be in the location as it could hinder emergency services to quickly locate your home in an emergency.
Wood Burning Fires:
As the weather gets cooler, many homeowners enjoy sitting on their patios around a nice warm fire. Please remember that burning natural/real wood is prohibited. Natural gas or propane fire pits are allowed.
Guest Cards:
As the holidays near and family and friends come to visit, please remember that a guest card is required for all guests that wish to use the facilities. Even if you are with your guest, they will still need a guest pass. Guest cards are offered at the front desk at the Ranch House Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information and to download guest registration forms and fitness waivers, you can visit the HOA website at robsonranchazhoa.org.
Please keep in mind it does take five to 10 minutes to register each new guest.
Pets:
We would like to ask each of you to be courteous and respectful to not allow your pet to enter someone’s property. Please also remember that cats and dogs must be on a leash at all times and should not be allowed to roam free anywhere in the community including the pocket parks, the Winslow green belt or back on the canal where Robson Blvd ends. The only place in Robson Ranch where dogs are approved to be off their leash is in the dog park. Thank you to everyone who has done a great job of picking up any dog waste and disposing it properly at the dog park or in your trash can.
We’d also like homeowners to be considerate of when their dogs are outside. With the nicer weather, dogs enjoy being outside taking in all the nature of your backyards. Oftentimes, homeowners are unaware that their dog may be outside barking. If you have a complaint about a barking dog, we like to suggest that you contact your neighbor as they may not be aware. If no resolution is found, barking dog complaints need to be addressed to Pinal County Animal Control.
Bulk Trash/Construction Dumpsters:
Please take a moment to become familiar with the free bulk trash service offered by the City of Eloy. This includes a variety of items that will be picked up curbside, in front of your home, once a month. For more information on the bulk trash pickup schedule, you can call 520-466-3082. You can also read more about bulk trash by clicking on the following link: eloyaz.gov/486/Bulk-Trash-Services.
With having the convenience of bulk trash picked up directly in front of your home, I’d like to pass along a request from the Robson Construction team who asks to please avoid dumping your personal items (landscape, boxes, hot water heaters etc.) in their roll-off containers. By taking up space in the construction dumpsters means less room for them to maintain a clean and tidy job site. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
RV/On-Street Parking:
Overnight parking on the street is not permitted during the hours of 1 and 5 a.m. without prior authorization from the HOA. All homeowner’s vehicles must be registered with the HOA and must display the Robson Ranch decal. If you own an RV, it should be registered with the HOA and it should display the Robson Ranch decal. RVs, trucks, trailers, etc., are permitted to be parked in front of your home for 48 hours to allow for loading and unloading, etc. Sleeping in RVs while parked anywhere in Robson Ranch is prohibited. It is a violation to park any recreational vehicle in any designated parking lot overnight without prior written permission from the HOA.
Speeding:
While Robson Ranch is a gated community, the Eloy Police Dept. does have the authority to issue traffic tickets. This is a gentle reminder to all that vehicles, bicyclists, and golf cart drivers are to adhere to all traffic related signs and to please come to a complete stop at all stop signs. The posted speed limit on Robson Blvd is 35 mph and 25 mph around the loop (Robson Blvd, Harris Hawk, Cherry Oaks, and Anasazi).
Please make a complete stop at stop signs and be on the lookout for bicycles and residents walking before proceeding.
If you see someone speeding or not adhering to the traffic signs, please call the office at 520-426-3345 with as much information as you can including a description of the vehicle and license plate information if possible. We do have a full database with who the owner is of each registered car. These safe driving rules apply to all vehicles, auto, motorcycles, bicyclists, golf carts, and pedestrian traffic. This topic also is discussed with all of our employees as we take safety matters very seriously.
Safe Walking/Bicycling Tips:
As the temperatures cool, we have many residents who enjoy walking or riding a bicycle around the community. Walkers should walk facing traffic, while bicyclists should ride with the flow of traffic. Please be cautious to walk/ride single file when you are not separated from the road. While it may be enjoyable to walk/ride two to three abreast chatting, drivers don’t expect it and may not see you. It is always important to be visible and wear bright colored clothing or reflective gear. Don’t forget to also keep pets on short leashes while walking/riding to avoid the animal heading into traffic or tripping others out exercising. Lastly, please know when to stop walking. Heat sickness and dehydration can strike any age individual, and even in the cooler weather. It is important to carry ID and a cell phone in case of an emergency.
Have a great day!
