Everyone who has a brain is at risk to develop Alzheimer’s disease that cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed. People around the world were asked to take the Purple Pledge and use their brains to fight Alzheimer’s disease. If you weren’t aware, purple is Alzheimer’s signature color. Have you participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s held here at The Ranch? The eighth annual walk will be held November 17. Please form a team or join a team, it is a fun event that does so much good! You can donate by going to Robson Walk to End Alzheimer’s website. You will find it is now so very easy. The Walk begins in front of the baseball bleachers at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 17. Be there by 8:30 a.m. to sign in, receive your ticket for the prize drawing that follows the walk, pick up your flower spinner, T-shirt if you have collected $100 or more, water and a snack. The flower spinners will be put in a grass area to spin away while you walk and you can take it home with you to spin in your yard! Last year we collected over $10,000. Let’s see how much we can increase the $$$$ November 17. The walk is three miles; Robson Boulevard, Harris Hawk, Anastasi and back to the baseball field. But walking isn’t necessary to donate!
