100+ Group at Robson Ranch Donates to Two Local Nonprofits

On March 28, a group of residents from the Ranch, along with a few like-minded friends from Casa Grande, met in the Cheyenne and Laredo rooms at the Ranch House to hear from two local non-profit organizations serving the needs of Pinal County residents.

Healing Saddles (located in Florence) provides equine therapy to those with physical, emotional and developmental disabilities, motivating them and encouraging them through the connection of therapists, animals and volunteers. Their clients include children, adolescents, first responders, and veterans.

Blue Star Mothers (located in Maricopa) supports active duty military, veterans, and their families through various activities and initiatives. They send “packages from home” to deployed troops, participate in special events such as parades and memorials, and provide special activities and events for area veterans. They work closely with veterans’ groups and the VA Hospital in Tucson. A key program of the organization is the Blue to Gold Program providing Gold Star Banners to parents and spouses of fallen service members.

100+ People Who Care is an alliance of like-minded individuals who gather to assist nonprofit charities in Pinal County, Arizona. The 100+ group at Robson Ranch usually holds fundraising events twice per year. All the funds raised at 100+ events go directly to the charitable organization. At the event on March 28, the group raised $1,700 for Blue Star Mothers and $2,650 for Healing Saddles. Watch the Robson Ranch Views and the Midweek Scoop for information about upcoming events.
